Dragon Breath Potion and Dragon Breath are different objects
Dragon Breath Potion is the one-use inventory item shown after Alchemy. Dragon Breath is the name that appeared in the Skill bar after the Potion was used. The Jul 31 footage labels the Potion as Epic, but it does not show a separate rarity field for the Skill.
| Object | Confirmed role | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Dragon Breath Potion | A crafted inventory item that is consumed in the observed use. | The Potion is labeled Epic. |
| Dragon Breath | The Skill name shown after choosing an existing Slot. | Its rarity, stats, and long-term persistence are not shown. |
| Replace Skill prompt | Chooses which current Skill is replaced. | This is not evidence of an extra free Skill Slot. |
Dated Dragon Breath recipe
The clearest complete Formula comes from footage whose description identifies the game version as Jul 31, 2026. Check the live Alchemy row before spending materials because later footage shows an expanded Formula system but does not show a current Dragon Breath row.
| Formula result | Material | Required | Observed version |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dragon Breath Potion | Undying Spirit | ×2 | Jul 31, 2026 |
| Dragon Breath Potion | Sulphur Lumps | ×1 | Jul 31, 2026 |
The same Formula row showed a separate 139 Robux purchase entry. That number is not a material fee and is not part of the recipe. The Alchemy panel says Robux potions are permanent, so the permanence statement applies to the Robux route—not automatically to the Potion brewed from the two materials above.
Where to get the two materials
The tutorial route says both ingredients can be farmed starting from Dungeon Stage 6+ and shows later Dungeon rooms. Treat that as the creator’s route guidance, not as an enemy ownership or guaranteed Stage table: the footage does not reliably connect each named material to one enemy, boss, or exact room.
Use the Formula’s Mark & Drop sign star to track the two ingredients:
- Open Alchemy and find
Dragon Breath Formulain the current list. - Star the Formula so matching ground materials can be indicated in the Dungeon.
- Enter the Dungeon and follow the Stage 6+ route guidance while checking the actual drop labels.
- Pick up materials manually until you hold
Undying Spirit ×2andSulphur Lumps ×1.
The star does not prove a higher drop rate, an exclusive source, or a guaranteed drop. No enemy name, percentage, pity count, or boss ownership is confirmed for either ingredient.
How to brew, claim, and equip Dragon Breath
- In the Hub, interact with the Alchemy worktable and open its Formula list.
- Find
Dragon Breath Formulaand confirm the current ingredient row. - Prepare
2× Undying Spiritand1× Sulphur Lumpsif the live row still matches the dated recipe. - Choose the material route’s
Alchemybutton. The footage shows the ingredients entering the mortar and a crafting animation. - Wait for the worktable countdown. This one recording showed about
02:33remaining after brewing began; that is an observation, not a fixed universal time. - Return to the worktable when brewing finishes and claim the result. The receipt read
You got Dragon Breath Potion. - Select and use
Dragon Breath Potionfrom the inventory or hotbar. - At
Replace Skill, choose the current Skill Slot you are willing to lose. The example replacedFire Arrow;Earth Spikeremained in the other Slot.
After the selection, the footage showed Potion used successfully and the chosen Slot changed to Dragon Breath.

Check the Slot before confirming
Dragon Breath replaced an existing Skill in the continuous example. There is no source-backed recovery method for the removed Skill, no confirmed undo flow, and no proof that recovery would be free. Decide which current Skill you can give up before selecting a Slot.
The example is useful for understanding the prompt, but it does not establish a rule that Fire Arrow must be replaced. It only shows that Fire Arrow was selected in that run while Earth Spike stayed equipped.
What the Skill visibly does
The observed Stage 14 use sends a fire projectile toward a group and produces an orange-yellow explosion. Damage numbers appeared over multiple enemies in the same explosion frame, which supports describing Dragon Breath as a multi-target explosion Skill in that shown use.
| Observation | What is confirmed | What remains unknown |
|---|---|---|
| Cast | A fire projectile travels toward a target direction or area. | Auto-targeting, maximum range, and input rules. |
| Impact | The projectile creates a visible explosion among enemies. | Exact radius and maximum target count. |
| Multiple enemies | One explosion frame shows damage numbers on several enemies. | Whether every cast consistently hits the same number of targets. |
| Later explosion | Another fire explosion and another group of numbers appear seconds later. | Whether this was another cast, a chain, a critical hit, or damage over time. |
The fire and scorch visuals do not confirm a Burn or damage-over-time mechanic. The blue +28M Power text visible during the same fight is player progression feedback, not a Dragon Breath damage value.
Version, unlock, and persistence boundaries
| Question | Confirmed | Not confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| Is the recipe current? | 2× Undying Spirit + 1× Sulphur Lumps was clear in the Jul 31 version. | The Aug 11 footage showed newer high-tier Formulas but did not display Dragon Breath. |
| What unlocks it? | A Level 221, 8 Rebirth tutorial account could see the Formula. | The minimum Level, Rebirth, Stage, or quest requirement. |
| Is it permanent? | The Potion was consumed and the Slot changed immediately in the shown session. | Retention after death, leaving, changing servers, or Rebirth for the material route. |
| How strong is it? | A fire explosion hit multiple enemies in the shown Stage 14 fight. | Damage formula, Power scaling, critical rules, cooldown, range, radius, or DoT. |
This supports Dragon Breath as a demonstrated Dungeon multi-target option, but not as a universal early-, mid-, or late-game recommendation. The only complete account sample was already Level 221 with 8 Rebirths.
Frequently asked questions
How do you get Dragon Breath in Magic Loot?
In Jul 31, 2026 footage, the player brewed Dragon Breath Potion with 2× Undying Spirit and 1× Sulphur Lumps, claimed it at Alchemy, used it, and selected an existing Skill Slot to replace. Check the current Formula before crafting because a newer Dragon Breath row has not been verified.
Is Dragon Breath a Potion or a Skill?
Both names belong to different objects. Dragon Breath Potion is the Epic inventory item; using it equips the Skill named Dragon Breath by replacing one current Slot. The Potion’s Epic rarity does not establish a Skill rarity.
Is material-crafted Dragon Breath permanent?
Unknown. The UI explicitly says only that Robux Potions are permanent. The material-brewed example changed the Slot immediately, but persistence across death, leaving, or Rebirth was not tested.
What does Dragon Breath do?
The shown Skill launches a fire projectile and creates an explosion that displays damage numbers over multiple enemies at once. Exact damage, range, radius, cooldown, target limit, and any Burn or DoT effect remain unconfirmed.
How long does Dragon Breath take to brew?
The Jul 31 sample showed about 02:33 remaining shortly after brewing started. Treat the live worktable timer as the authority; the source does not prove that every version or attempt uses a fixed two-minute-and-33-second duration.
